Our Arc-Rated PVC Strip Curtains are specifically engineered to create a safe visual barrier in environments where intense light, such as from welding arcs, laser cutting, or other high-energy processes, poses a risk to worker safety and health. These darkly tinted strips effectively filter out harmful ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation while allowing a comfortable level of visible light to pass through. This enables supervisors and other personnel to safely monitor ongoing operations from a distance without the need for personal protective equipment (PPE), reducing the risk of “arc eye” and other radiation-related injuries.
